MCHENRY, Ill. (WLS) — The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office mentioned a man is in custody after allegedly stabbing his female friend, and his house was once on fire when he used to be taken into custody.Police mentioned at 9:forty p.m. they had been called to home in the 500-block of Sunrise Drive for a record of home battery. There they found a 25-year-old woman who have been overwhelmed and stabbed by way of her boyfriend.
Police found her boyfriend, who they known as 25-year-old Alexander Campos, at his home, which was once on fire. He was taken into custody, and the McHenry Township Fire Protection District answered to the house fire.
The house has been deemed uninhabitable because of the damage, and the purpose of the fire is under investigation.
Campos is charged with tried first degree homicide for the stabbing of his girlfriend. She was treated for non-life threatening accidents at Northwestern McHenry Hospital.
Campos is due in court on Monday.
