A go back and forth to the barber store cut this Big Apple murder suspect’s freedom quick.

Cops nabbed a person sought after in connection to a years-old slaying thanks to an Instagram put up that almost led them to his doorstep — in California — and despatched him back east this week to face justice, resources advised The Post.

The NYPD had been searching for Lee Almonte since Dec. 3, 2017, when Jadel Garcia, 27 of Fort George used to be fatally shot six occasions in the back near the corner of Broadway and West a hundred and seventy fifth Street in Washington Heights, according to police officers.

Police said at the time the gunplay was possibly the result of a love triangle — brought about by way of an ongoing argument over the victim’s spouse.

Investigators poured through leads on-line, and in May — hit pay dirt after they saw Almonte, 34, in a snap at the Instagram account for a Los Angeles barber, getting a trim.

Almonte was busted May 19 during a joint operation with the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Fugitive Task Force while using a bicycle in West Hollywood, NYPD sources stated.

On Thursday, Almonte used to be extradited from Los Angeles to John F. Kennedy International Airport — taken to the 33rd Precinct stationhouse in Washington Heights for processing, the resources said.

Almonte used to be indicted for the slaying in 2018 — and this week charged with second-degree intentional murder and prison ownership of a loaded firearm, authorities said.

Almonte has been arrested prior to now for guns fees and drug ownership. Quite a lot of different arrests are sealed, authorities mentioned.
