'Fast moving fire' threatening homes in Aurora

AURORA, Colo. — Crews from several agencies are responding to a “fast moving” brush fire burning in the 3800 block of South Himalaya Way in Aurora.

According to South Metro Fire Rescue, homes are threatened. Evacuations have not been ordered at the moment.

Gusty winds are making containment “challenging and dangerous,” SMFR mentioned in a tweet Monday night.

SMFR says fireworks continue to be fired off in spite of the harmful prerequisites.
