It stated: “The Roux circle of relatives has introduced the sad passing of Albert Roux, OBE, KFO, who have been ill for a whilst, on the age 85 on January 4, 2021.
“Albert is credited, along with his past due brother Michel Roux, with starting London’s culinary revolution with the opening of Le Gavroche in 1967.
“The Roux circle of relatives have asked that their privacy presently be revered.”
